Sergio Ramos Forgot If You Don’t Become a Captain at PSG?

Paris

Top centre-back Sergio Ramos will have to start adapting to the new situation at Paris St. Germain. Ramos was caught forgetting that he was no longer the captain.

Ramos moved to PSG for free after spending 16 successful seasons at Real Madrid. The Spain international has won a total of 22 championship medals including five LaLiga titles and four Champions Leagues and made more than 650 appearances.

Meanwhile, Ramos is known to have become Madrid’s permanent captain since 2015, replacing Iker Casillas. While at PSG, the captain’s armband was carried by Marquinhos. Well, it seems Ramos is not used to not wearing the captain’s armband.

The moment was seen in a promotional video shared by PSG. It shows Ramos wearing the new home shirt The Parisians complete with a pair of black football boots. Ramos was seen checking his left arm several times, which usually has the captain’s armband on it.

Sergio Ramos’ behavior got various reactions from netizens on social media. Not a few believe that sooner or later will become captain at PSG.

“He will become PSG captain in a short time of course. He has a winning mentality,” Sanjubaba tweeted.

“They should have made him the captain… there are no more qualified players,” said PurpLDav.

“It felt so wrong and strange to see him wearing that uniform,” said CFCOrash.

Ramos contracted PSG for two seasons. Ramos is aiming for a fifth Champions League trophy with his new club.

“Joining a club that is 51 years old and has never won the Champions League, it would be very historic of course if you could win here. From a personal point of view, it is very important for me to win a fifth Champions League trophy,” said Sergio Ramos recently.
