Lukas Podolski (36) has only been with his new club in Górnik for a week.
He and the Polish club have already suffered a heavy loss.

The cult fan died at the age of 82 – as yet unconfirmed sources say he should have suffered a heart attack.
“Leon” was a guest at all home games and always rang his bell when Górnik scored.
He was also known for giving chickens from his farm to the club’s best players.
The club wrote on Instagram: “He was a great supporter and symbol of Górnik, but above all a man with a big heart. Leon, you will always stay in our memories and hearts! “
