Spanish badminton player Pablo Abián was eliminated in the Tokyo Olympics after succumbing this Wednesday against to the Chinese Chen Long (21-11, 21-10), current Olympic champion.
As in his three previous Olympic appearances in Beijing, London and Rio, Abián was unable to get through the group stage after succumbing to the decisive Group N match.
Both players had previously beaten Estonian Ral Must and played the pass to the eighth, but Chen Long gave no options and imposed his favoritism to sign up or win in 45 minutes.
