Oaxtepec gets ready to host basketball for the Conade National Games – El Sol de Cuautla

Although in the sports map Morelos does not appear as the venue for the 2021 Conade National Games, the entity will have a small participation as the host state by considering the National IMSS to the Oaxtepec Vacation Center “Adolfo López Mateos” as the headquarters for the discipline of basketball its two branches.

The Mexican Institute of Social Security is contemplated to receive basketball and chess for the first edition of these Games that were previously called the National Olympiad.

For this reason, the IMSS confirmed that it will be one of its four holiday complexes in the country, the headquarters of the so-called burst sport.

The CVO, inaugurated more than 55 years ago in the municipality of Yautepec, will host all the activity in both branches, male and female from August 24, so it will be one of the last disciplines to be played in the national fair.

The administration of Adolfo López Mateos in charge of Jaime Gómez Roch, after confirming that they will wait for the arrival of the different teams from the states of the country, announced that they are already preparing the installation with the fields that the complex has.

According to the calendar of the Games, the basketball activity will be played from August 24 with the first day, and will end on August 28 with the finals.

It will be three days of the first elimination round from which the best teams located in each category and branch will advance to dispute the medals in the final stage.

It is worth mentioning that in this first edition of the games, basketball was also held in the new 3 x 3 modality, which was held in the state of Coahuila on July 7 and 8.

In addition to the burst sport, the IMSS is also contemplated to celebrate chess, a discipline with which the Conade Games will end and which will be held in Los Pinos in Mexico City, from August 31 to September 3, from according to the official calendar of the sports fair.
