NFL: he resigns after refusing to be vaccinated

football/nfl/story">

Minnesota Vikings assistant coach Rick Dennison has reportedly resigned because he did not want to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

This is what the ESPN network said on Friday.

The 63-year-old was in charge of the Vikings’ offensive line and ground play. He had worked for the organization since the 2019 campaign. The Montana native had previously held various positions with the Denver Broncos, Houston Texans, New York Jets, Baltimore Ravens and Buffalo Bills.

Remember that the vaccine is mandatory for all coaches, leaders, equipment managers and scouts in the NFL. However, players are not yet required to be vaccinated.

Dennison would be the first Goodell Tour coach to resign for this reason.
