Michael Stich: “Everyone around me was playing crazy”

EIt was Sunday afternoon, 5.42 p.m. local time, when Michael Stich threw both arms into the azure blue sky of London. The 22-year-old professional from Elmshorn had a sensational coup over Boris Becker in the men’s only German-German Wimbledon final to date.

The former title holder receives in the office of his foundation in the Hamburg district of Eppendorf.
