McGregor tries to kick an officer before breaking his leg at UFC 264

Conor McGregor caught on camera trying to kick a security guard with his left foot in UFC 264, leg which then broke after the first round against Dustin Poirier.

McGregor suffered a broken left ankle against Poirier at UFC 264, Sunday (11/7). The fighter from the Republic of Ireland is considered to have had karma for trying to kick Poirier with his left foot inside faceoff before the fight.

In the video uploaded to the Twitter account @oocmma, McGregor is seen trying to kick a security guard in the head while waiting for Poirier to climb up the octagon.

The security guard looked unafraid as McGregor tried to kick him. The Notorious then held his leg before his kick hit the security guard’s head. McGregor then pointed at the security guard.

McGregor lost to Poirier for the second time in a row at the UFC. In addition, the 33-year-old fighter has also been confirmed to be absent for a long time from the MMA event after undergoing surgery for a broken left ankle.

Despite losing twice to Poirier and breaking his leg, McGregor is still curious to have a fourth fight against The Diamond.

“Dustin, you can celebrate an illegitimate victory all you want. But you didn’t do anything there. The second round will be different,” said McGregor after successful surgery.

UFC President Dana White after UFC 264 confirmed that there would be a fourth Poirier vs McGregor duel. White believes McGregor’s career is not over in the UFC despite breaking his leg.
