On those first days of work, coach Luis Amaranto Perea referred this Wednesday, who affirmed that he sees the team in a good way.
“After two weeks off, the group has returned well, eager to get into shape, with many challenges ahead. We are left with the thorn stuck of being close to everything. We are working well and with the firm intention of achieving the objectives and being able to give the joys that are demanded of us and that they are waiting for, ”said the helmsman.
“In the end, because of our way of working and understanding the number of games we brought, the forms are excessively lost. We are readjusting a bit, combining the ball with a lot of effort in them, but always aiming at what we are looking for ”, he added.
The rojiblanco coach also wanted to send a message to the rojiblanca fans, asking them to demand results, but not to pressure them as much as they have been doing now.
“I want to take advantage of this moment so that, within that demand that the fan puts on us, which is very important, there are moments when the demand must be separated from the tension that is being generated in the group. It seems to me that the fan should be our ally, understanding that there are many things that we have not been able to give. In the end, the requirement is one thing and all the extra pressure that is generated seems to me to be unfavorable ”, he commented.
“I want to make you an invitation, if possible, understanding that with this we do not say that they do not demand us, that they do not pressure us, that you are an important part of achieving the objectives. Perhaps many people believe that the only way there is for the team to react is to pressure it. My experience as a player tells me that when a footballer is pressured as he has been doing, his ability to respond will be affected, because trust is important to achieve goals, “he added.
Amaranto also referred to the arrival of forward Juan Sebastián Herrera and side Walmer Pacheco, ensuring that the group has received them in the best way.
“I believe that all the players who arrive do so with tremendous enthusiasm. As they adapt, they understand that this shirt is heavy, that the demands here are very great. From the point of view of what we are looking for, they are going well, but as time goes by they will get much better. We hope that when they have to enter they will respond ”.
“This is a good group, which welcomes everyone who arrives quite well, and from that point of view makes it easier to adapt to them. The other thing is to respond on the court and start building trust so that people believe ”, he added.
Finally, the counselor spoke about the little preparation time they have had and how difficult it has been due to the lack of friendly matches and the casualties they have had due to covid-19.

We have done some soccer among ourselves. We will try this week to do some football against Barranquilla FC and that is all we will have before we get to that game, “he said.
“The group has already won things, very advanced. Few people have arrived and that is an advantage, because you don’t have to change many players. From the point of view of what we want is an advantage. We would like to have more games, but it has not been possible, we have had to be very careful. Junior’s first challenge will be against Libertad from Paraguay, next Wednesday, July 14, at the Roberto Meléndez Metropolitan Stadium, in Barranquilla, for the first leg of the round of 16 of the Copa Sudamericana.
