Khabib Nurmagomedov never has his tongue in his pocket, especially when it comes to talking about the news at UFC. Evidenced by his recent inflammatory statement on Conor McGregor, humiliating but… hot with truth?

Since losing out at UFC 264, Conor McGregor has literally gone into a spin. He first insulted Dustin Poirier, then his wife, before going after his daughter Noelle… only 4 years old. A behavior that some qualify, logically, as too disrespectful and intolerable.

Among the fighters, many athletes reacted to the turn of events. The great Floyd Mayweather, for example, did not miss to ridicule the Notorious with a photo on Instagram, just hours after his loss to Poirier.

On the side of Khabib Nurmagomedov, figure of the UFC around the world, the speech on McGregor is much less focused “humor”. Yes The Eagle has already given its cash opinion on the Irishman, no offense to his ex-opponent, he especially returned to the charge with an inflammatory statement on the Notorious. It happened during an interview for ESPN.

Khabib : The judges give the first round to Dustin Poirier 10-8, he crushed him in this round. I think if they fight 100 times, Dustin is going to beat him 100 times. If McGregor wants to come back, fine, get him to fight Dustin Poirier one more time and he finish this guy. That’s it. I think that’s what the UFC is going to do with him, or maybe he’ll fight Nate Diaz. But both fights, I think he loses them.

With his experience in the octagon, Khabib is once again very direct by announcing that McGregor will never go the distance against Dustin Poirier. Worse yet, he announces that the Notorious career is now over:

Without a broken leg, yeah [il pourrait revenir à son niveau], but with a broken leg not because he will never give the same kicks again. With him, no, I don’t think so. Conor is still old enough to fight, he’s only 32… but with what happened in his head and his legs… this guy is over. Even if there is still a big name for the promotion

Conor’s career Mcgregor is it really over? According to Khabib Nurmagomedov, that’s a big yes. Unless the Irishman manages to defeat Dustin Poirier in a 4th fight.
