Kevin Cordón advances to the Badminton semifinals

This Friday the Guatemalan Kevin Cordón won the quarterfinal match in two sets and qualified for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Badminton semifinal.
The Zacapa native is once again making history for Guatemalan sports, as he is now in direct competition to win a medal in the jousts.
Today he defeated South Korean Kwanghee Heo, who is number 38 in the world ranking.
To achieve victory Cordón won the first set 21-13, while the second was a close duel that remained in a tense draw but the Guatemalan played with his heart and took the set 21 -18.
