――After graduating from Shibuya Education Academy Shibuya High School, which is famous as an integrated middle and high school, unfortunately I could not pass the Tokai University School of Medicine and went on to the Tokai University School of Physical Education. How was the ratio of judo to study when you were at Tokai University?

“In the first and second years, judo was the main thing. On the other hand, in the first year, I put in a lot of lectures and took more credits. At Tokai University, there are also lectures beyond the undergraduate level. If you acquire 124 credits including this, you can graduate, so I thought that if you take a lot of credits at an early stage, you will have more time to do other things.

Also, from the second year, I started taking the teaching profession (course). Many 1st and 2nd graders who are doing club activities seemed to have lectures up to the 4th period from 5 o’clock, but since I was taking lectures up to the 5th period, I went to club activities from about 6 o’clock. I did. “

――How was it after the third grade?

“Since the 3rd grade, I have been taking lectures that I can enjoy while moving my body, such as volleyball and rugby, which are practical skills. You took a language course and went to a preparatory school for medical school in your spare time. “

――After graduating from Tokai University in 2019, I will take the medical school, which has been my goal for a long time. Then, in the spring of 2020, which was my challenge since I was in my third year of high school, I passed the AO entrance exam at Dokkyo Medical University School of Medicine.

“When I was accepted by Dokkyo Medical School, I reported to my homeroom teacher who supported me when I was in my third year of high school. To be honest, when I was in charge, I might not be able to take it. I was always thinking, “he continued,” But I’ve only fought on the ground where I can fight safely, so I’ve been supporting Asahina who is trying to fight in the upper level field. The moment I heard it, I almost cried, “Eh, Yada” (laughs). “
