José Altuve reached 600 RBIs with a grand slam

José Altuve started the month of July properly. With the best energy and doing what he does best: hitting.

The waiter hit a home run in the fifth inning to lead the Houston Astros 7-2 comeback against the Cleveland Indians on Thursday night.

In this way, the Creole reached and exceeded 600 RBIs (603) in his 11 seasons as a bigleaguer.

With Myles Straw being the first to hit the plate after the hit, Altuve reached 600 trailers and equaled Doug Rader for the sidereal’s ninth all-time, while with the rest of the RBIs he climbed to the eighth box alone.

The Puerto Cabello native’s grand slam was his second this season. The first was against the Texas Rangers on June 15 and served to put them on the field.

It was the 18th homer of the harvest for Astroboy, who plans to break his top of 31 which he achieved in 2019, the same year in which he also hit two home runs with the bases full.

It is not normal for the pads to be occupied in his batting order, however the Venezuelan already has five hits from four corners in his career, in this situation. Altuve started July with everything
