JO TOKYO 2020: Paulin DANHO galvanizes the Olympians

Paulin Claude DANHO, the Ivorian Minister of Sports and the Development of the Sports Economy, met Ivorian athletes qualified for the Olympic Games at the conference room of his ministry. A meeting held at 15 from the prestigious meeting in order to boost the morale of the Ivorian Olympians.

Before giving the athletes their participation kit, the head of Ivorian sport reassured the athletes on the issue of bonuses. Thus, he reassured the Ivorian pachyderms about the three planned premiums. These are the qualification bonuses of 79 million 500 miles already granted to all the athletes for their preparation; the participation bonus of up to 1 million 500 thousand per athlete and coach, and the third bonus called “objective” namely 10 million FCFA for the winner of a gold medal, 7 million 500 thousand for a medal of silver and 7 million for a bronze medal.

Following him, the athlete Koffi Jaurès judoka on behalf of the qualified athletes addressed his sincere thanks for the moral and financial support of the State of Côte d’Ivoire “We will do all our efforts to be among the best and return to the countries with medals, ”he said.

As a reminder, Côte d’Ivoire will be present at the Olympic Games scheduled from July 23 to August 8, 2021 in six disciplines which are athletics, rowing, football, Judo, taekwondo and swimming. The various delegations will join Japan from Monday, June 19. Note that 24 hours before this Paulin Danho was in Songon in the stronghold of the Olympic footballers in full preparation to give them the same speech.
