“I deserve it, I’ve done enough”: An All-Star teases his future

With the free agency that promises to be, many NBA stars want to go get a big check. However, others still under contract have their eyes fixed on 2022. A big scorer of the league has made a big revelation on this subject, there is little.

If his Bulls were mediocre in 2020-21, Zach LaVine assured him on an individual level (27 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists on average). All-Star for the first time, the former Wolves is establishing himself more and more as the boss of his squad. Free agent at the end of next season, he will then be able to claim a huge jackpot, and he wants to get it by staying in Chi-Town, as he explains in Bulls Talk Podcast :

I try to let my agent take care of everything. But as long as it’s done, I’ll be happy. I mean, obviously I want to be with the Bulls and you don’t want to involve, you know, free agency, and I understand, like the cap room that comes into play with a big extension with me.

Illinois fans can rest assured their star intends to continue racking up points for United Center residents in the future. Nevertheless, ZLV is aware that the staff level is insufficient at the present time. This needs to change quickly, according to him, without his personal status suffering as much:

I want the team to be good, but I also want people to take care of me. I feel like I’ve done good for the Bulls, and obviously I want to be here for the long haul, and I feel like I deserve what I’m getting, I’ve done enough. So, here we are. We’ll see when that happens. If it’s this year, or next year, we’ll see what happens.

Quite a few requests therefore, but we imagine that he can afford it after his excellent season. The two-time Dunk Contest winner announces loud and clear, he wants to receive a royal treatment from the Bulls in 2021-22. When we see the little talent that contains the current workforce, we say that the leaders of Windy City will do everything to satisfy their franchise player.
