Great news for LeBron and the Lakers in the market!

Since their premature end of the season, the Lakers have clearly shown that they want to position themselves as big players in the offseason. And while they are busy getting big reinforcements, several players of the same profile would jostle to join the franchise!

Not a big name has appeared in the rumors for more than a month, without it being linked directly or indirectly to the residents of the Staples Center. The reservations surrounding their salary situation do not seem to have any impact on the activity of the Lakers on the market. The leaders of Angelinos accumulate the enticing tracks for the next season, without succeeding at the present time to conclude the least file.

Whether in terms of departures or arrivals, nothing seems simple for Rob Pelinka and his assistants. The latter would first like to get rid of unwanted players from their squad. A description that fully corresponds to Kyle Kuzma, whose superiors are trying by all means to transfer these last days. They come from elsewhere relaunch a hot lead that could lead to his trade.

At the same time, the complicated or expensive situations of potential recruits in no way help their affairs. Suffice to say that nothing will be easy for them in their constitution of a new roster, to seek a new title. Nothing, or almost. According to Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report, last guest of the Lakers Central Podcast, LA would be an enticing destination for “a ton” of very specific players.

The good news for the Lakers is that there is currently a lot of talk among rival executives across the league that if the Lakers succeed in getting Kyle Lowry or Russell Westbrook, and trade Kyle Kuzma for Buddy Hield, for example… There is a lot of speculation that seems valid that the Lakers have a ton of veteran players ready and interested to sign at the minimum, and go after that ring with LeBron.

As mentioned above, the difficulties encountered by the Purple & Gold since the beginning of the summer come down to their almost zero financial flexibility. Therefore, only low cost signatures can be considered in the current state of affairs. This is obviously good, since the contenders for a contract of this type, and a place in Frank Vogel’s group, would prove to be numerous.

What is more, the experienced profile they all seem to share fully matches the needs of the Lakers. Indeed, the team’s shooting window with LeBron James and Anthony Davis at the helm remains short, and even more than expected according to the last reports. Therefore, the recruitment of several players in this same situation, and determined to hang a title on their charts, should only be beneficial.

If they remain entangled in the big issues that animate their offseason, the Lakers should however have no trouble attracting an experienced strike force in the weeks to come. Something to cheer about LeBron James & Co.
