Frank Clark (Chiefs) faces three years in prison

On June 20, 2021 in Los Angeles, Frank Clark (DE) had undergone a road check by the local police. Except that during this check for a traffic violation, an Uzi submachine gun was found in a bag, in his vehicle. The player then declared that the weapon did not belong to him but that it was the property of a member of the security service of the Chiefs. He was released after paying $ 35,000 bail.

Concern: this illegal possession of an assault weapon was not the first but the second in three months! On March 12, 2021, Frank Clark was arrested by police because his vehicle did not have a license plate on the front. And during the check, the police found a loaded rifle and pistol in the back seat. There, too, he was released on $ 35,000 bail.

According to Chiefs’ follower journalists Sam McDowell and Herbie Teope of the Kansas City Star, the prosecutor requests a criminal sanction for the case of March 12. Clark faces a prison sentence of up to 3 years. There is no doubt that this second arrest will not help matters! The trial will take place on October 18, 2021 in Los Angeles.

A millionaire after his $ 104 million contract with the Chiefs in 2019, Frank Clark seemed to have come out of it after a poor childhood: a mother addicted to crack and violence in the South Central neighborhood. (his story here).
