Finn Jakoby on the way to the U15 European Championship

Last Tuesday, Finn Jakoby from the Raccoons made his way to Brno (Brno, Czech Republic) to compete there as part of the national team in the coming week at the U15 European Championship.

The U15 national team, headed by head coach Georg Bull, will arrive in Brno a week before the start of the tournament in order to prepare again specifically for the European Championship. Test matches (including against the Czech Republic) and some training units are intended to serve as the final preparatory measures for the team. Before that, the team had already been in a training camp in Boca Chica (Dominican Republic) for 2 weeks and in Staranzano (Italy) for a week.

Finn travels to the EM as a pitcher. There the German team has to assert itself in the preliminary round against France, Russia and the Czech Republic and then potentially contest the further rounds against Slovakia, Austria, Italy or the Netherlands.
