The Institute communicates that Federico Elas is a red-haired player and joins the recent incorporations of Whelan, Romano, Gallizzi, Copello, Cuello and Chiarini.
The guard comes from playing in Baha Basket where he played 37 games of which he averaged 16.5 in points (48% doubles, 33.2% triples and 73.5% free), 3.2 rebounds and 1.8 assist. With that percentage in goals, he was the sixth best scorer in the last League competition.
Fede started his way in basketball in the lower ranks of the Argentine club, and went on to Napost until he reached Baha Basket where he was part of the Development League teams that became champions in 2016 and 2017.
The Bahiense also integrated the Selection of Province of Buenos Aires U15 and U17; and in 2017 he was summoned for the Men’s National Preselection of the U19 category. A year later he participated in the squad that represented the Bahamas Senior National Team.

RENOV CHIARINI
After the recent incorporations, the Institute reports the renewal of the escort Mateo Chiarini, who will have his second edition with the glorious jacket.
The player, who emerged in Unin Elctrica, came to the club to be part of the squad that competed in the Osvaldo Arduh Cup and participated in the BCLA 2021.
In the National League, he had his red-haired debut on the first date where Instituto beat Atenas and Mateo was the second scorer of the night with 13 points. In total, the guard played 43 games with an average of 10.3 points (42.4% in doubles and 35.1% in triples), 2.0 assists and 2.3 rebounds.
