EM 2021: Patrik Schick elected the tournament’s goalscorer

It is now clear who scored the most beautiful goal of the European Championship in 2021: The Czech Patrik Schick from Bayer Leverkusen was awarded the contract.
Patrik Schick scored the goal of the tournament at the 2021 European Championship. This was officially announced by UEFA on Wednesday evening.
Schicks goal from the middle line to the 2-0 final score for the Czech Republic in the group game against Scotland made the race. The Bayer Leverkusen attacker ended up ahead of France’s Paul Pogba (goal to 3-1 against Switzerland in the round of 16) and Croatia’s Luka Modric (goal to 2-1 in the group game against Scotland).

UEFA put the ten best goals of the tournament up for election. Almost 800,000 votes were received in the subsequent voting, which Schick chose to protect the most beautiful goal.
With the Czech Republic, Schick made it to the quarter-finals at the European Championships, in which Denmark was beaten 1: 2. The 25-year-old scored a total of five tournament goals, making him and Portugal’s superstar Cristiano Ronaldo the top scorer in the 2021 European Championship.
