Dortmund: Watzke very clear for Hland

The future of Erling Hland (21 years old, 41 games and 41 goals in all competitions for the 2020-2021 season) is being written more and more on the side of Dortmund. While Chelsea want to afford the Norwegian striker this summer, BVB continue to close the door to a departure. After the future sports director Sebastian Kehl (see yesterday’s news at 4:49 p.m.), it is the turn of general manager Hans-Joachim Watzke to announce that his star will not leave.

“Erling Hland will play here next year,” assured the leader of the Ruhr club in comments reported by German media Bild. Enough to stop the rumors? The player himself has not made the speech of a leaving player when discussing his future this week (see here). A priori, the native of Leeds therefore seems on track to play one more season with Dortmund.
