Djokovic is left without medals at the Tokyo Olympics in a rage

The world’s number one bronze medalist in the men’s tournament threw his racket into the empty stands and smashed another against the net pole, losing a cool mind to Spanish Pavlo Carreno-Bust in a bronze medal match at the Olympic Games on Saturday.

The twenty-time Grand Slam tournament champion with the sixth number lost to the Spaniard in the competition with 4-6, 7-6 (8: 6), 3-6, the Spaniard winning with the sixth match ball.

Djokovic and his partner Nina Stoyanovich also announced their withdrawal from the bronze medal match in the mixed doubles against Australians Ashley Barthy and John Pierce after a singles match.

It was later announced that the withdrawal was due to a shoulder injury, not wanting to take a risk a month before the US Open.

This means that the first number in the world ranking will leave Tokyo without a medal.

This is the first time that Djokovic has lost two singles matches after failures in matches with Dominic Tim and Roger Federer in the 2019 ATP Tour Finals.

The match with Karreno Bust was an exciting two-hour, 47-minute fight in the heat of Tokyo.

Djokovic played the first match ball in the second set of Taiwan, playing four more at the end of the third set.

However, the Spaniard, who also won the second-placed Russian Olympic Committee (OKR) tennis player Danil Medvedev in the tournament, won 32 games, while Djokovic had only 18.

The 30-year-old Spaniard was finally able to enjoy the bronze medal when his titled opponent sent the ball into the net after a kick from the comfort side.

Djokovic could remember the loss to Carren Bust in last year’s US Open when he accidentally hit the line referee with the ball.

This time, the Serb threw his racket far into the empty stands after an unused break in the first game of the third set, and continued to get angry, destroying another racket after a hit.

The judge left the first jump without warning, but issued a warning to the Serb after the second incident.
