Daza, Chacín and Senzatela absent due to Covid-19

The Colorado Rockies suffered four casualties heading into what was the start of the second half of the season, when a Covid-19 outbreak within the team became known.

Three of those infected are Venezuelans, Antonio Senzatela, Yonathan Daza and Jhoulys Chacín among the four players who entered the list of injured by Covid-19 protocols. The fourth member was pitcher Yency Almonte.

Daza had a great first half, establishing himself as a starting outfielder, in addition to being the fourth player with the most hits within the team with 72.

Senzatela, for his part, left a void in the rotation, although his performance this year has not been ideal, reflecting a 2-8 record with 4.58.

Chacín, for his part, had found his rhythm as a reliever, adding six games in a row without allowing runs.
