Basketball: Bavaria brings Hilliard – Amaize goes

Basketball cup winner Bayern Munich has strengthened itself with the NBA-experienced guard Darrun Hilliard. As the club announced on Friday, the 28-year-old comes from EuroLeague rivals CSKA Moscow and receives a one-year contract with an option for another year.

Hilliard had previously played 91 games in the NBA for the Detroit Pistons and the San Antonio Spurs.

Meanwhile, Bayern and the former national player Robin Amaize are going their separate ways with immediate effect. The contract with the 27-year-old, which was originally valid until 2022, was terminated by mutual agreement.

Amaize had played for Munich since 2019 and averaged 4.0 points in 57 Bundesliga games.
