Ahn Se-young started off with a good 2-0 lead in the first half of the first game with straight smashing. Ga-eun Kim defeated Gaitan Hamara (24, Mexico) and Amin Yeo (22, Singapore) in Group K of the preliminary round and advanced to the round of 16, but in the tournament, she failed to overcome Akane’s wall.
