ATP> Djokovic: “I don’t have one injury but several, I hope they won’t prevent me from playing at the US Open”

While he seemed unbeatable, Novak Djokovic has been through hell for the past two days. Beaten three times and twice in singles, the Serbian collapsed. He even had to forfeit before the bronze medal game. At a press conference, he confessed to being injured in several parts of the body.

“I regret not having won a medal for my country, both in singles and mixed. Yesterday (Friday) and today, my tennis level has gone down, in part due to mental and physical exhaustion. I hope that my physical problems will not be a problem for me for the US Open. This is something I am not sure about at the moment, but there are no regrets, you have to give your all for your country. I retired from mixed doubles because of injuries, not just one. I hope that will not prevent me from playing at the US Open ”, confided the world number 1.
