Alba Berlin outclasses the Bayern basketball players in Munich

Andrea Trinchieri’s team was able to make the first quarter fairly even, after the first ten minutes they had only two points less than the guests from Berlin (21:23). In the second part of the game, however, the Munich team could not keep up with the second in the table – the Berlin team won 29: 9 and went into the half-time break with a clear 52:30 lead.

Berlin with a 42-point lead in the meantime

Even after that, the capital club kept control of the match. The tired hosts continued to decrease and Alba continued to widen the gap. The third quarter ended 31:16, the fourth 17:16 – each in favor of the guests. Sometimes the Berliners led with 42 points (94: 52/35th minute) and dominated the hosts at will. In the end, Aíto García Reneses’ team deservedly won 100: 62.

The most successful shooter for Munich was Dennis Seeley with 17 points. Among the outstanding capitals, Lammers (15) and Niels Giffey (15) met most often.

Against Milan on Wednesday

For Munich it was a bitter defeat before the third Euroleague game on Wednesday at home against Olimpia Milan. The Trinchieri team had lost the first two games of the best-of-five series.
