YHV at the Turnerbund Osterfeld in the open air

Oberhausen.
Almost 200 members took the chance to see each other officially approved. Clear opinion on one-time reduction of the basic membership fee

The Gymnastics Association Osterfeld in 1911 held its annual general meeting at the Friesenhügel sports facility with a special corona permit. After the long lockdown there was great interest, almost 200 members insisted on being there to learn new things and to see each other again. The tennis department provided enough seating and umbrellas. Due to the pandemic, guests were not invited and there was no catering.

The chairwoman of the board, Antje Stammen, hosted the meeting. The dead from the previous year were read out and honored with a minute’s silence. The club’s anniversaries received a framed certificate of honor for long-term membership.

In addition, the elections for the executive board were on the agenda. The following were elected, 2nd chairman: Gabi Krumm, 2nd managing director: Rolf Kinter, 2nd cashier: Heinz Siegers.

It is better to finance projects than to reduce contributions once

Since many sports activities could not take place during the Corona period, a one-time reduction of the basic club fee was voted on. However, this was rejected by a majority in order to finance future projects. A one-time suspension of the additional judo fees as well as the general cancellation of the additional fees for general gymnastics / fitness was decided.

The Turnerbündler are very happy about the further relaxation in amateur sport in Oberhausen from Thursday. They are also very excited about “fit-fitter-friesenfit”, the free summer special campaign for all citizens: inside on the Friesenhügel.
