Victoria plans to open 13 new schools with advanced facilities and put into use in 2023 | Melbourne | Education

The 13 schools planned to be put into use in 2023 include the $43 million North Melbourne Primary School Molesworth Street campus, which has a landscaped playground, outdoor stage, terrace seating, activity and performance space, as well as basketball and basketball A competitive level stadium for tennis.

The Victorian government announced in this year’s budget that it will invest A$492 million in new schools, including Camms Road Primary School in Cranbourne and Lollypop Creek Primary School in Werribee, which will meet the needs of schools in suburbs with a surge in population.

In addition, Truganina North Middle School will be put into use in 2024; the newly opened Cranbourne West Middle School, Elevation Middle School and Tarneit Middle School will also build some additional facilities.

All newly built primary schools have administrative buildings, libraries, performance and sports venues, outdoor courts, and areas for art, dining, and science learning.

Victorian Education Minister and Acting Governor James Merlino said that the government has invested A$1.6 billion in the 2021-22 fiscal year budget to build new schools and improve existing schools to ensure that children can have a bright future.
