Tunisia snatched from Mali!

After its sluggish victory against DR Congo (1-0) then its defeat in Algeria (0-2), Tunisia ended its month of June by winning over the wire and without convincing against Mali (1-0) this Tuesday in Radès, still in a friendly match.

Faced with an opponent who has once again demonstrated his strength despite the expulsion of Rémois El Bilal Touré from the 33e minute then that of Messin Kiki Kouyaté in the last moments (90th + 4), the Eagles of Carthage, strongly decimated, waited for the 90e minute to take the lead thanks to Anis Ben Slimane following a badly rejected corner.

As against the DR Congo (1-1), the Malians therefore lose the thread in the last minutes but these matches and their setbacks with the honors against Algeria (0-1) can give them hope for good prospects before face Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda from September in their qualifying group for the 2022 World Cup. For its part, Tunisia will battle it out with Zambia, Mauritania and Equatorial Guinea.
