TSV Barsinghausen confirms Klaus-Jürgen Dallmann as chairman and honors numerous jubilees

Werner Fischer has been with the association for 75 years / decline in membership is to be stopped

BARSINGHAUSEN (red). TSV Barsinghausen got through the Corona time quite lightly. “The resulting resignations are limited,” reported Chairman Klaus Dallmann on Friday at the annual general meeting. Since there have been no admissions for over a year, the number of members has decreased since January 1, 2020 to currently 900. “We mustn’t slump any further,” warned Dallmann. If the trend does not reverse, the maintenance costs of the sports facilities could no longer be financed by the members.

The board team (GEV) is nevertheless optimistic to be able to lead the association stably into the future. With the renovation of the sanitary facilities and changing rooms of the sports home and the opening of the daycare center on March 1st in the old TSV hut, important projects have been completed in the past two years. The members therefore confirmed Dallmann in office until 2023. Good news: The GEVO is complete again. Claudia Thieme (38, Judo / Aikido division) was a candidate for the long vacant position “1. Deputy Chairman ”and was elected unanimously. Jan Sievers remains the first assessor. At the request of the judo section, a working group will be set up to work out a new structure for the contributions by the end of this year. It is the wish of the applicants to relieve schoolchildren and students financially in the future.

Since the meeting had to be canceled last year, the awards from 2020 were made up for. Werner Fischer, who was a member of the GEVO from 2002 to 2014, received standing applause. The 84-year-old has been a member for 75 years and was awarded a gift basket and letter of honor.
