Trementines. The Avenir judo ju-jitsu opens its doors this Saturday, June 19

Waking up spirits for the start of the sporting season is what the judo club wants to do by offering test classes and open houses. The 6-9 year old age group has indeed fallen in numbers since the health crisis. Today, only minors can train indoors and Avenir judo hopes for a real reduction in the health protocol on June 30. The survival of the club depends on it , explains Sébastien Filmotte. We will have to draw on financial reserves. We sold our minibus and we prefer to postpone the purchase of a new vehicle. Last September, the reluctance won over parents who preferred, for their children, individual sports rather than team or contact sports. An inevitable impact on the workforce which has 70 members currently against a hundred two years ago.

Test courses were offered on Wednesday June 16. It will be the same on Wednesday June 23. Four sessions will take place from 4.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. for 6-9 year olds, from 5.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. for 4-5 year olds, from 6.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. for 10-14 year olds and from 20 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. for those aged 15 and over. It is recommended to come in a tracksuit. There will be no loan of judogi. The resumption of the season is scheduled for Monday, September 6 and an open door is organized for everyone on Saturday, June 19 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the dojo of the Evre complex.
