Tom Brady to the team that wanted to sign him in 2020: “Are you going to keep that & /% $ @?”

Once it became clear that the two-decade relationship between Tom Brady and the New England Patriots had come to an end, rumors about their next destination reaching radioactive levels. From San Francisco to Las Vegas and through Los Angeles, the then 42-year-old quarterback continued to arouse interest.

The interest was justified, when Brady signed with the Buccaneers and made it clear that his mere presence was more than enough to radically alter the course of a franchise.

That, however, was not known by one of the teams that showed an initial interest in Brady to, towards the end of the process, take a step in the opposite direction and stay with their current quarterback. Brady, who has learned to find sources of motivation in the smallest detail –Real or perceived–, do not forget that gesture.

“I was left thinking, ‘Are you going to stay with that son of a bitch …?'” declared Brady to the program The Shop: Uninterrupted, according to the advance that HBO broadcasted on Monday.

Brady’s image is enough to sell a show. The image of Brady subtly or not so subtly lashing out at another team is enough. to blow up the ratings, so take your hat off to HBO. Now, everyone will be watching the broadcast of the show to see if it is discovered who that “son of a bitch” is.

During his brief stint in free agency, all roads pointed to San Francisco as Brady’s next home. After all, the team had just been showing up in the Super Bowl, its quarterback – Jimmy Garoppolo – is anything but trustworthy and it was Tom’s childhood team. So Garoppolo is most likely that “son of a bitch” that Brady refers to.

But just as it can refer to San Francisco, it can refer to any other team. The Raiders and Derek Carr and the Rams and, back then, Jared Goff they are as good bets as any other.

In fact, cAny team that does not have a Patrick mahomes, Aaron Rodgers o Russell Wilson, or one of the young gunmen like Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen o Kyler Murray, And the fact that he has not shown an interest, even if it was superficial, for Brady, deserves to be asked: “Are you going to keep that son of a bitch …?”

Maybe, and just maybe, Brady will reveal who he was referring to during the show’s broadcast. It is possible, although unlikely. After all, the sin is said, but not the sinner. Our best chance to get to the bottom of this matter is in the hands of the ever-reliable avocado tequila.
