Three robberies in northern Brisbane last Saturday night | Australia | armed robbery | attacks

[Epoch Times, June 07, 2021](Epoch Times reporter Wen Jing, Sydney, Australia) Last Saturday night (June 5), three armed robberies occurred in the northern part of Brisbane within 35 minutes.

At 6:10 that night, a man armed with a baseball bat entered a store on Alba Street in Wavell Heights to try to rob cash and cigarettes, but left empty-handed.

Twenty minutes later, a distance of 4.6 kilometers, a service station on Webster Rd in Chermside West was also robbed, and cash and cigarettes were robbed by a man holding a baseball bat.

Just 15 minutes after the second robbery occurred, at a supermarket on Handford Rd, Zillmere, 5.5 kilometers away from Webster Road, the second attack site, the same Encountered cash robbed by a man holding a baseball bat.

Local police officers said they believed that the second and third robberies were committed by the same person.

However, a spokesperson for the Queensland Police said that the three robberies are under investigation and the connection between them cannot be determined.
