Felipe Reyes retires, whose goodbye will be announced today jointly with Real Madrid, and he does so leaving a record that is difficult to match. 24 titles with his clubs (one with Estudiantes and 23 with Real Madrid) and ten medals with the senior basketball team. In addition, he is adorned with a multitude of individual records, both in the ACB, as in the Euroleague and with the Real Madrid.

In Felipe Reyes’s personal showcases there are 7 leagues, 7 King’s Cups, 6 Super Cups, 2 Euroleagues, 1 Eurocup and 1 Intercontinental. Titles all of them won with Real Madrid, a club that he reached in 2004, except for the Cup won with Estudiantes in 2000.

The two european cups (2015 and 2018) are the jewel in the crown of a magnificent track record that has been carved, especially in the last ten years, in which Laso’s arrival at Real Madrid revitalized a long-depressed section.

In the selection, Reyes was a member of the gold juniors who conquered the World Cup in Lisbon 1999 and, from there, did not stop accumulating success with the Spain shirt. One World Gold in Japan 2006, three Olympic medals (silver in Beijing 2008 and London 2012 and bronze in Rio 2016) and six European metals (gold in 2009, 2011 and 2015, silver in 2003 and 2007 and bronze in 2001).

What’s more, Reyes is the player who has played the most games in the ACB, in the Euroleague and with Real Madrid. A legend who also leads the rebounding statistics and is the fifth highest scorer in the league.
