Yukatel Merkezefendi Municipality, the new team of the Basketball Super League, made its first foreign transfers and added Thomas Akyazılı from Bahçeşehir College and Yiğitcan Turna, who has super league experience, to its staff. Thomas Akyazılı, born in 1997 and 1.88 meters tall, wore Belgium U16-18-20 and A National Team uniforms, transferred to Bahçeşehir College from Antwerp in 2019. Akyazılı averaged 12.6 minutes, 3.7 points, 1.9 rebounds, 0.9 assists in 25 games in BSL, 26 minutes in Eurocup, 7.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists.
Born in 1987, Yiğitcan Turna is 1.85 meters tall and was trained by Banvit’s infrastructure. Last season, he produced 15.3 minutes, 3.9 points, 1.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists in 17 games.
