The Jazz change direction with the goodbye of Dennis Lindsey

The Utah Jazz have moved tab to start searching some change in dynamics after their last elimination in the semifinals of the NBA Western Conference after a magnificent regular season in which they finished with the best record in the league.

Dennis Lindsey, up to now vice president of basketball operations of the franchise, has announced that will leave his position and will henceforth remain as deputy director to the management of the franchise. The executive joined the Jazz in 2012 and has led as General Manager first and then as sports vice president rebuilding the franchise in these nine years.

The franchise owner, Ryan Smith, will now seek a way to strengthen an executive who has always been one of the meanest in the NBA in size and resources. Justin Zanik, who was promoted to GM in 2019, will remain in office for now.

The Jazz have reached the playoffs five consecutive seasons
s, and have advanced to the second round for the third time in the past five years.
