The Blues with Koundé, Tolisso and in the 4-2-3-1 of 2018 to face Portugal

This is not a question of principle, just a fact: in the final phase of a major tournament, Didier Deschamps has never fielded the same team from one match to another and this Euro 2020 will not derogate from the rule. Wednesday evening, against Portugal, the coach of the France team will make three changes of players compared to the eleven who faced Hungary (1-1), Saturday, in Budapest (Lucas Hernandez for Lucas Digne, Jules Koundé for Benjamin Pavard and Corentin Tolisso for Adrien Rabiot), and above all, a change in tactical scheme, as revealed by the L’Équipe channel this Tuesday evening: the Blues worked a 4-2-3-1 system, with Antoine Griezmann in support from Karim Benzema, Kylian Mbappé and Corentin Tolisso occupying the left and right sides of the middle with, both, a different role.
