The Badminton Club IES La Orden wins a total of 7 medals in the Andalusian Championship Sub 15 and Sub 19

On this occasion, the quarry of the entity has traveled to Montilla, where has disputed the Andalusian Championship of categories Sub 15 and Sub 19, in which a total of seven medals (four golds, one silver, two bronzes).

Thus, the great protagonists have been Alejandro Pérez and Rubén Carreras, since both have proclaimed regional champions in the individual category. First, Pérez (U19) Adriano Viale (Benalmádena) was measured in the final, against whom he won 21-19 and 21-13. For its part, Rubén Carreras (Sub 15) He won gold against Mario Rodríguez (Granada), whom he defeated by a double 21-16.

To continue, in U19 women’s individual, Karen Martín won the bronze medal after falling in the semifinal against Lucía Merchán (Rinconada) by 21-14 and 21-19. Similarly, Martín won another bronze in women’s doubles, category in which he played alongside Carolina Vallejo (CB Huelva). The duo from Huelva faced Carla Moyano and Lucía Ruiz (Arjonilla) in the semifinal, against which they fell, after playing a tight match, 21-8, 14-21 and 22-20.

On the other hand, in the U19 men’s doubles, IES La Orden was represented by double shape. A) Yes, Alejandro Pérez achieved a new gold with Lucas Torre (Granada) after beat his teammate, Álvaro Morán, in the final who was accompanied by Christian Arias (Arjonilla), for a result of 21-10 and 21-11.



Finally, in Sub 15, Rubén Carreras obtained another gold medal, this time in mixed doubles with María Merchán (Rinconada). The couple faced Mario del Moral and Lucía López (Bad-Flay) in the final, who won by 21-18 in the first set and 21-19 in the second.

Once again, the Badminton Club IES La Orden congratulates all the players who have played the Andalusian Championship in Montilla, where they have demonstrated their quality and learning about tapestries. Likewise, the entity highlights the work carried out by Alejandro Pérez and Rubén Carreras, both champions at the regional level thanks to their effort in this discipline.
