Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev, number two in the world, will play the Mallorca Championships that will be held next week, ATP 250 category and played on grass, after accepting an invitation from the tournament.
Medvedev thus joins Dominic Thiem in a luxury lineup for the Spanish event, which will also feature world number one Novak Djokovic, recent Roland Garros champion, who will play the doubles tournament in preparation for Wimbledon.
The tournament organization celebrated the latest addition to its team in the first edition of the ATP event in Santa Ponça (Calvià). The Mallorcan tracks, identical to those of the All England Club, continue to attract the best of the Circuit in the run-up to the ‘Grand Slam’ on London grass.
