Strasbourg wins in Monaco and eyes third place in Jeep Elite

It wasn’t the shock one might expect between two of the top four. To play their late match of the 7th day of Jeep Elite, Monaco and Strasbourg have rotated their squad. Mathias Lessort, Marcos Knight, JJ O’Brien and Ibrahima Fall Faye were saved on the Monegasque side, Léo Cavalière and DeAndre Lansdowne were saved on the Strasbourg side.

In this little game, it was the Sig who had the upper hand on the Rock (85-72) on Wednesday. A victory that does business for … Asvel, guaranteed to finish second in the regular season behind Dijon regardless of the result of its last match on Friday, again in Monaco. A meeting which will not be without stake despite everything since the Alsatians can steal third place from the Monegasques, from whom they have taken the point average of a small point (70-82 in their first duel), in case of victory.

The dominant Strasbourg collective

This Wednesday, the Strasbourg residents caught the Monaco B team (Boukhary Cissoko, Yohan Choupas, Rudy Demahis-Ballou, Kevin Kelicki, Jordan Ratton …) from the first minutes but they only escaped during the third quarter -time thanks to Ike Udanoh (26 evaluation) and Ishmail Wainright (23 evaluation) by making the difference in offensive rebounds (13 catches).
