Registration in El Calafate and El Chalten of the Sports Schools Argentina

The Government of Santa Cruz extends the national program of Argentine Sports Schools that provides free spaces for teaching and improving sports to children and adolescents between 11 and 17 years old. In this sense, in consensus with the different federations, the province has 27 schools that are strategically distributed with the aim of promoting the training process and promoting certain disciplines.

Thus, El Calafate will have three Athletics schools that will have Fabián Correa as a teacher, Mercedes Velazquez in Volleyball and now it will be cycling instead of swimming that had been announced at the first moment and will be in charge of Federico Muñoz.

For its part, El Chalten is developing

Thus the inscriptions in the tourist village will be with the following schedule:

– Athletics: Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the “Palito Cherbukov” Gym.

Cycling: Monday to Friday from 8am to 2pm and from 6pm to 8pm at the “Palito Cherbukov” Gym.

– Volleyball: Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the “Palito Cherbukov” Gym.

The EDAs available in the provincial territory are detailed below:

Caleta Olivia: 3×3 basketball, boccia, judo, Olympic wrestling and volleyball.

Dry Canyon: women’s basketball.

El Calafate: athletics, cycling and volleyball.

El Chaltén: climbing.

Gobernador Gregores: women’s football and handball.

Las Heras: Olympic wrestling.

Pico Truncado: rugby and table tennis.

Good Stone: women’s basketball.

Puerto Santa Cruz: women’s football.

Rio Gallegos: Athletics, Adaptive Athletics, Wheelchair Basketball, Dragon Boat, Olympic Lifting, Wrestling
Olympic, taekwondo, table tennis, volleyball.

Rio Turbio: badminton.
