Real Madrid: Ancelotti goes for Timo Werner if Mbappé or Haaland don’t win

The arrival of Carlo Ancelotti to Real Madrid has created a wave of rumors regarding the arrival and departure of players after the end of the Zidane cycle and the departure of some leaders such as Sergio Ramos, Rafael Varane and others who would leave in the coming days.

Regarding arrivals, Real Madrid is still behind Kylian Mbappé and Erling Haaland regardless of what Ancelotti thinks about it, as they are priorities for the merengue club in the market, although the economic and contractual aspect is the great obstacle. Therefore, Ancelotti already has a plan ‘B’.

Timo Werner would be one of Ancelotti’s signings for next season in Real Madrid if the arrival of Haaland or Mbappé does not occur. This was revealed by the English newspaper ‘The Sun’, commenting that the German striker is worth 60 million euros and that is a more affordable figure for the Spanish club.

Ancelotti meets Werner from his time in the Premier League directing Everton. The 25-year-old German forward came to Chelsea from Leipzig and generated high expectations, but has not been able to show all the potential he had in the Bundesliga.

Werner would partner and / or compete with Benzemá at Real Madrid and his young age is another plus that would give him an advantage to reach the white house.
