PRONO. Who will win the European Championship? Participate and have a chance to win Apple Airpods | . with a few clicks Sport

The European Championship is just around the corner and then it is high time to make predictions. Who will make it to the final and who will advance in which group? In collaboration with SofaScore, we have put together a handy tool to determine the full course of the tournament.

The rules of the game are simple. Your participation is completed in three steps. In step one, you determine the two (or three) teams from each group that will advance to the knockout stage of the tournament. Note the ranking used. Teams that you give the number one will advance as group winners, teams with the number two will go through as second. Ditto for teams that get the number three.

Based on your mouse clicks, our tool simulates the knockout phase of the tournament. In it you can click each time on the country that you think will win in the proposed match. This continues until two teams remain in the final and must also be determined by a winner. In the last step you just have to fill in your details and then it is only a matter of waiting for the matches.

But there’s more. There is a safety net for those who completely went wrong in the group stage. The competition takes place in two phases. The deadline for the first phase is June 11, 2021 (at 9 pm). The second phase starts on June 23, 2021 and ends on June 26, 2021 (at 6 pm). Whoever collects the most points at the end of the ride is the winner of our prono game. The points distribution follows below:

Group Stage Points (up to 48 points to be earned):

1 point for each team that survives the group stage

2 points for each team whose place in the group is correctly predicted

Points in the knockout phase:

In the knockout phase, the points are awarded based on whether the contestant correctly predicted a particular team’s victory, and it does not depend on whether the contestant correctly guessed who that team was playing against.

1/8th finals – for each correctly guessed winner = 6 points + bonus

Quarter-finals – for each correctly guessed winner = 12 points + bonus

Semifinals – for each correctly guessed winner = 24 points + bonus

Final – for correctly guessed winner = 48 points + bonus

Bonus:

After the end of the group stage, SofaScore calculates the Power Ranking of the national teams and ranks them from 1 to 16 (1 as strongest, 16 as weakest). Example: Belgium’s ranking is 6, France’s is 1. Belgium wins and the possible bonus is 5 (6 – 1). The Power ranking will be published as an integral part of this forecast. The standings published before the start of the knockout phase will not change and will be used in this forecast until the end of the European Championship.

Winner:

The winner of the competition is the participant who has scored the most points. In case there are several participants with the same number of points, the winner will be determined based on the timestamp (playing time) with the advantage being given to the participant who played it first. The points are counted after the group stage and after the final match.
