PGA: Hadley makes her way

Chesson Hadley’s consistency allowed him to reap the rewards of his efforts on Friday in Ridgeland, South Carolina. The American rose to the top of the PGA Palmetto Championship standings after two rounds.

After handing out a first 65 (-6) card on Thursday, the 33-year-old golfer hit the white object 66 (-5) times on the second day of activities. He made seven birdies and committed two bogeys. Hadley will start the rounds of the weekend with a two-stroke priority over his closest pursuer, American Dustin Johnson.

The Canadian Nick Taylor followed up his good first round of 67 (-4), with a much less convincing performance, in which he struck two more strokes than the normal of 71. He lost 14 places and is tied. in 21st position, nine shots behind the leader.

Tied with Taylor after 18 holes, Roger Sloan struggled even further, committing five bogeys against a single birdie. He slipped 35 places and shares 42nd position with a host of opponents.

Michael Gligic was unable to avoid the chop, he who handed in a second consecutive 73 (+2) card.

Finally, David Hearn absolutely had to get a birdie at the last pennant to avoid the cleaver, but instead he committed a double bug and couldn’t avoid the cleaver.

LPGA : Brooke M. Henderson renonce

Canada’s Brooke M. Henderson was forced to withdraw from the Mediheal Championship in California.

The 23-year-old made the announcement moments before the start of the second round. She did not give the reason for her withdrawal from the competition.

The day before, she had handed in a disappointing card of 77 (+5). It was the Irish Leona Maguire who was in the lead, she who played 65 (-7).

Quebecer Anne-Catherine Tanguay participates in the event in Daly City. She had also struggled, playing 79 (+7). Canadians Alena Sharp and Jaclyn Lee also play this tournament.
