Guido Pella (59 °) will make his presentation in the ATP 250 of Mallorca before the italian Stefano Travaglia (86th). The Argentine, who has just fallen in the first round of Halle, will seek to start the contest in the best way.
The court number three will be the one that receives the duel between the Argentine and the Italian in the debut of both in the contest. Pella comes from losing to Lukaz Lacko (186th) in his Halle debut while Travaglia (86th) comes from doing the same but to Matteo Berrettini (9th) at Queen’s.
The history between Travaglia and Pella includes an ATP matchup and another at Challenger. The first was played in 2015, at the Caltanissetta Challenger, with a 6-4 and 6-0 victory for the Argentine, while the second took place in 2018 at the ATP 250 in Doha. There Pella won again 7-6 (4) and 6-3.
