Lucia Da Silva Teixeira Araujo won the gold medal in the -57 kg category at the Paralympic Judo Grand Prix in Warwick. The Brazilian offered the waza-ari after a close battle.
Second at the Paralympic Games in 2016 in the visually impaired -57 kg category, Lucia Da Silva Teixeira Araujo added a new title to her record. Indeed, the Brazilian won gold in the -57 kg category of the Warwick Judo Grand Prix.
After a tough opposition, she offered the title, to the detriment of Argentina’s Laura Candela Gonzalez. Both bronze medals went to Kazakh Dayana Fedossova and Belarusian Elena Bogdanova.
