Central defender Leonardo Balerdi (22 years old, 25 games and 2 goals in all competitions this season), on loan from Dortmund, is not yet sure of staying at Olympique de Marseille. Contacted by RMC, the Marseille management denied the agreement at 11 million euros (excluding bonus) mentioned Monday by the German press (see yesterday’s news at 10:34 p.m.).
While the purchase option was initially set at 14 million euros, OM are still trying to lower the price and do not wish to spend more than 10 million euros. Negotiations are continuing for the Argentinian, who wants to stay in Marseille.
