MARTANO – After the lockdown, sport will be the protagonist of a party: appointment in Martano for Sunday 27 June. The Casermette district will host the sports associations of the area starting at 18.30. The whole area, which includes the municipal bowling green and the neighborhood equipped sports facility, will be committed to promoting all-round sporting activity.
The amateur run, organized by the amateur sports association “Grecìa Salentina”, will be accompanied by basketball tournaments, bowls of the “Martanese Grecanica Don Bosco”, “Terzo Tempo” and “Pneuma Don Bosco” five-a-side football, volleyball, table tennis and tennis (Calimera club). And still sport with Judo, of the “New Judo Nippon” and of the “Kime”, with the representations in bike, of the association “MTB Martano”.
We continue with free body gymnastics with the associations “Style Fitness” and “I Like Trekking”. Performances of zumba, of the association “Team Chiriatti Teaekwondo” and of rhythmic gymnastics, dance and Caribbean dances of “Cuban Heart”, “Isola dello Sport”, “Daferi”, “Dancing Light Centro Danza will be available to all citizens. ”And“ Flaschdance Martano ”. The recreational recreational activities of “Never give up”, “Triacorda Martano” and “Fichi d’India” have been included in the event. “We believe that among the duties of an administration – says the councilor for sport Melania Vitto – is also that of encouraging sport, as a tool for sharing, social growth and enrichment of the individual”.
