“No matter what Anthony Davis’ trainer has been doing for 10 years, it doesn’t work”

During his early years in the league, Anthony Davis has earned a reputation as an injury-prone player, which has even earned him the nickname ‘street clothes’ by Charles Barkley. But last year when he arrived at the Lakers he made it a point of honor to be as available as possible for his teammates, which was praised throughout the season by Frank Vogel. But this season unfortunately he couldn’t escape injury, limited to 36 regular season games due to Achilles tendon and calf issues. In the playoffs he first sprained his knee, then a strained groin.

He missed Game 5, but tried to play Game 6 when he was supposed to be out for 10-14 days. He couldn’t play for more than a few minutes, and his courage was praised. Guest of the Dan Patrick Show, Kevin Garnett said he was shocked that he wanted to play.

“I was shocked that he was there, shocked that he made the trip. I had a groin injury, it’s the worst, or one of the worst injuries you can have. It severely limits what you can do. Sideways, you can’t do anything. So I was shocked that he was on the pitch and got the green light. ” Kevin garnett

Didn’t his reputation play a role?

“I think he hears it all, but the important thing is to do something for yourself, not for others, and he has to take his body to another level. Let’s face it, LeBron came to LA not just to leave the NBA on a high note with a big franchise like the Lakers, but also because he wanted to play with a younger version of someone who like what D -Wade allowed him to Miami, in order to continue his legacy, to win titles and carry on that spirit. And right now, that’s not what Anthony Davis allows him to. He has to take his body to the next level, and no matter what his trainer has been doing with him for the past 10 years, it’s not working. He shouldn’t be out of shape in the regular season. I do not understand.” Kevin garnett
