Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson said Thursday he didn’t ask for an offseason trade and believes conversations with coach Pete Carroll and general manager John Schneider have strengthened his links with the team.

Wilson spoke for the first time since February, when a series of comments led to speculation about his future in Seattle.

Wilson has said on several occasions that winning is the ultimate cure for any dissatisfaction and that all loopholes with the franchise have been fixed for now.

It is clear that frustration built up with the team’s performances and it led to a storm that began after Wilson saw Tom Brady win another Super Bowl title in February.

“When I’m sitting at the Super Bowl and watching the Super Bowl, I should be (angry), right? Wilson had said. Ultimately, you shouldn’t want to just sit there and watch the game. You want to be there and play it, especially when you’ve been in it twice. “

Seattle won its only Super Bowl title eight years ago and it has been seven years since the Seahawks last won the National title.

Wilson has already questioned the Seahawks’ efforts in terms of their willingness to surround him. He had mentioned in particular that his offensive line was tired of being constantly hit.

The situation came to a head when Wilson’s agent Mark Rodgers told ESPN his client had not requested a trade but listed all four teams – Las Vegas, Dallas, Chicago and New Orleans. – for which he would be ready to waive his non-exchange clause.
